  Bill Bean





William John Bean Jr. was born on July 29, 1966 in Baltimore, Maryland. His parents were William J. Bean Sr. and Patricia Bean. Bill has an elder sister named Patti and a younger brother named Bobby. In 1970, the family relocated to Glen Burnie, Maryland, after buying a house located on Little Road in a community called Harundale. What the family didn't know is that the house was already occupied by demonic entities. Bill Bean has stated in his own words, "My family was literally torn apart by an evil force that co-existed among us in that house. The activity began as subtle noises and gradually escalated into violent physical attacks on us by the entities. My mother suffered the most, not only being assaulted by the entities, but also by my father as well. I witnessed a tremendous amount of blood letting in that house, as a child. He was a decent hard working man that suddenly had taken a dramatic turn for the worse. He left us in 1975, and the activity grew even more intense after his departure. My book, DARK FORCE, is not for children or those who get upset easily because this is a very terrifying, tragic and disturbing story. Dark Force is not just a haunted house story, it's so much more than that. It's a story of a family being divided, and conquered. It's also a story of how a once loving family had turned cold to each other, and how we struggled just to eat on a daily basis, after my father left us. My mother was a very sick lady who began having strokes in her late thirties. She struggled with high blood pressure which resulted in kidney failure. The torment from the demonic force inside that house was relentless, and none of us ever got much sleep there. It's also a story of a young boy being pushed over the edge by the demons, and I challenged them one day in 1979, resulting in an unforgettable experience for us. We were finally forced to leave in December 1980, and two tragedies occurred several months after we left. We were devastated by the sudden passing of my grandmother Dora A. Harvey on August 2, 1981. My mother was lost without her mother, and her health rapidly declined. On October 5, 1981, just two months and two days after the death of her mother, Patricia D. Bean was dead! I can honestly say that I believe the torment and abuse she sustained from the demonic force in that house, ultimately contributed to her death. My life has been full of many other tragedies, including the homicide of my father in 1987. Neither of my parents lived to see the age of fifty. I have many witnesses to corroborate what I've stated in this book, including surviving family members, and close friends. My reason for coming forward with this information is to help other experiencers out there, who have nobody to turn to. I'm here for you. My book also has a message of hope, and a message of faith. I certainly hope that nobody ever has to endure what we did. I do not seek these things out however, they have seemed to find me over the years. I'm happy to tell you that GOD has truly blessed and protected me from these evil forces, especially in the last few years. I never want to experience that evil force again, as long as I live. I truly have witnessed the power of GOD, and the vulgar power of Satan. My faith in GOD is my strength and my shield of armour.

Retiring in 2000 Bill got interested in doing more with the paranormal.

Arch Bishop James Long


Through prayer and spiritual advisement, Bishop Long accepted God’s call to become an Independent Catholic Priest. He was ordained a Deacon, Priest and Exorcist within the Old Catholic Church and was consecrated a Bishop in April 2006. Bishop Long as performed over 22 Exorcisms.

Originally from Illinois Dave has been a resident of Minnesota since 1988 when he attended Winona State College and fell in love with the beauty and people of this great state.
With the growing interest in the world of the unknown on TV, the movies and literature building each day, Dave and his co-host Tim Dennis decided to bring their unique views and experiences to the radio, and Darkness On the Edge of Town (AKA Darkness Radio) was born.
Dave has had an active interest in the paranormal since early in his childhood when he was visited by the spirit of his deceased grandmother. Continued activity and experiences has kept this passion alive.
He is a contributing writer to TAPS Paramagazine and now he hopes to explore and learn with you each week as we delve deeper into The Darkness On The Edge Of Town.


 





  Dusty Smith


Dusty is the chief researcher and founder of the Daytona Beach Paranormal Research Group, Inc.
Dusty and several of the DBPRG, Inc. members have been featured in New Dominion Pictures "A Haunting in Florida" for The Discovery Channel's series, "A Haunting", a documentary by Village Films, a documentary by the students at Seminole Community College, an episode for "Nitido" on The Telemundo Network.
She holds certifications as a ghost hunter and paranormal investigator, as well as several degrees in fields such as biology, psychology and theology that aid her in her scientific approach to the field of the paranormal.
She is also a staff writer and photographer for Epitaphs Magazine.


  Jason Gowin

Jason Gowin began his actual trek into the unknown back in the fall of 1998 with the infamous paranormal investigation group Ghost Hunters, Incorporated, where he spent the better part of 10 years causing chaos wherever and whenever they could. Upon meeting George Lutz, the man who was the basis for the Amityville Horror book and movies, took him under his wing and was shown a new path; Jason changed his mind about certain things in the paranormal and sought out a new way in which to search for it while still keeping the same sense of humor about the subject matter that he always had.
His investigations have been published in the Encyclopedia of Haunted Places by Jeff Bellanger. He has also been the basis for several widely released documentaries including New Gil Pictures "The Graveyard Shift" as well as many others. In 2008, Jason was asked by longtime friend and mentor in the paranormal Tim Yancey to become a co-host of the Encounters Paranormal Radio Program. Ketih and Sandra Johnson
 

Keith Johnson:
Keith has had an interest in the paranormal since he was a teenager when he had phenomena occur in his own home. In the seventies, he was a member of the paranormal research group Parapsychology Investigation and Research Organization, out of RI College. He has worked with The Atlantic Paranormal (TAPS) he has been featured on the hit SciFi series Ghost Hunters as a consulting demonologist. With his strong faith, he has been able to assist many clients undergoing spiritual problems and negative phenomena and is a demonology consultant for TAPS, New England Paranormal and many other paranormal research organizations. When not investigating potential inhuman hauntings or involved in the production of Ghosts R NEAR, Keith enjoys spending time with his wife (Sandra, co-founder of NEAR) and 19-year-old son (Keith Jr.) and lecturing and conducting classes on the paranormal. Keith is also an actor and singer. He was involved with Trinity Rep Extension, in Providence, RI, and has been seen as an extra in such films as Meet Joe Black and Amistad.

Sandra Johnson:
Co-Founder/Director of NEAR and Producer/Co-host of Ghosts R NEAR Sandra's interest in the paranormal actually began when she met and married her husband, Keith, the Founder of NEAR. She began investigating as an assistant demonologist with The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) and eventually branched off to co-found NEAR and focus more on assisting clients with potential inhuman hauntings. Her view of the paranormal is objective and she considers herself an open-minded skeptic. The psychology and physiological aspects of alleged hauntings is a particular interest. She can usually be found by Keith's side, either investigating with NEAR or assisting another organization with negative or inhuman hauntings. When not case managing investigations or working on production of Ghosts R NEAR, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 19-year-old son (also named Keith) and assisting with classes and lectures on the paranormal.

  Keith Age




Keith Age has over 30 years of experience in paranormal research. He is the Founder and President of the Louisville Ghost Hunters Society which was formed in 1996. Beyond hearing Keith Age on hundreds of radio stations internationally, he can also be seen on a multitude of television outlets, including the Discovery Channel, and as host of Spooked on the Sci-Fi Channel. At present Keith Age is anticipating the Sci-Fi Channel’s airing of the ongoing epic reality documentary series Children of the Grave where he is host and Associate Producer with Spooked TV Productions. His approach to investigating the paranormal in a non-metaphysical manner has Keith Age known world-wide. His years of experience not only investigating the paranormal but playing bass guitar in his band, DOUBLEBACK, has earned him the title of the “Rock-n-Roll Ghost Hunter.”


  Patrick Burns





Patrick is best known as the paranormal investigator on TRU TV's hit series "Haunting Evidence", but was no stranger to the media prior; having been featured on CNN and an Emmy award winning documentary for TBS, among numerous other appearances.
Founder and director of Ghost Hounds and GhoStock itself, paranormal subjects have been a life-long fascination of his. He founded Ghost Hounds in 2001 and the group has quickly grown to be one of the most visited paranormal research sites on the web.
Patrick is a veteran both in front of and behind the camera lens. A videographer in his own right, his "one man band" self-produced video production entitled "Haunted" has won him acclaim from his peers in the paranormal field and a nomination from Ghost Convention International for "best documentary".

  Robert Hunnicut

A ghostly encounter 32 years ago in an Arizona theater was the beginning of Bob Hunnicutt’s journey into the world of ghosts and hauntings.
